Art Lessons: Painting . Drawing . Portfolio Development
Instruction is available in oil and acrylic painting and drawing, as well as digital and photographic processes relevant to these media, at all levels.
Instruction is tailored to your individual interests and abilities, with a focus on developing the skills and processes required to translate your vision into fully realized works of art. Students learn the basics of painting and/or drawing and are encouraged to combine careful observation with a conceptual approach. We will also look often at the work of other artists.
Classes are held in Annie’s studios in Austin and San Marcos.
Annie Simpson received her MFA in Painting from the Yale School of Art and her BFA in Painting and Video Art from the University of Texas at Austin. She has exhibited her work in New York, New Haven and throughout Texas and has taught students at a variety of levels.
